My experience with Cassie and Garren started quietly — a meeting with the planner, Slater Events, followed by an engagement session at some of their favorite spots in Frisco. The goal was to capture them doing what they loved most, exploring the mountains of Colorado, and with any luck the fall color on the aspens would make an appearance. We were not disappointed. During their session, I saw their genuine affection for one another, their quiet jokes, knowing glances and love of the outdoors.
These two spent the weekend with their closest family and friends, first welcoming them at Deco + Bol for an evening of toasts and bowling, then following it up with a scenic ceremony and reception at Sonnenalp Vail.
Before guests arrived, we escaped up the gondola for some portraits at the top of Vail Mountain, commemorating the love these two have for the mountains. Later that evening, the party crescendoed when the groom and his friends serenaded the bride.
Photographing weddings in Vail is more than capturing beautiful views — it’s about documenting connection, movement, and light in a place that feels wild in the best way.
My approach blends editorial composition with organic storytelling, so your images feel effortless and true to the moment.
I know the light, the timelines, and the terrain that make Vail weddings flow smoothly — from the gondola logistics to golden-hour portraits at 10,000 feet.
If you’re planning your wedding in Vail, I’d love to hear about your day and help you create something unforgettable.
